True, the title of this post may not be a real word at all, but why introspect when a whole world of mind boggling things await you outside the boundaries of closed thinking?
For example, I could spend my time thinking about my feelings or other equally soppy things, or I could instead divert my attention to Justin Bieber's new 'song' - Boyfriend. As a singer, he never fails to (at the very least) ...puzzle me. I thought he hated being called a young girl of seven because of his earlier pre-pubescent voice. But apparently, he has progressed to accepting the catcalls of 'throaty-voiced man of sixty'. I guess that's what he meant with the swag, swag, swag...
This train of thought can barrel down continuously for quite sometime, but why stop at the first dish in the buffet of delectable items? What I'm most interested in these days, are the specs of the eagerly awaited Galaxy S III. Of course, having done my research, there are both positive and negative prospects. But mostly negative. Personally, I can't believe they actually went with the tagline Designed For Humans. After hundreds of thousands of developed phones in last decade, is this the only one specifically designed for the homo sapiens? If so, I guess it's time to stop giving my phone to my dog for daily use.
One overly advertised trait of the S III is how the screen dims when you look away. The front camera continually scans your pupil movement and dims screen brightness to save battery. Bravo Samsung. Good to know that you think lowering a screen's brightness for an extra one hour a day can compensate for running a front tracking camera 24/7.
What confuses me most, however, with all these smartphones, is the increasing desire for dual and quad core processors onboard. Why would we need them? Unless we plan to run four full, state of the art games in the background, while editing a photo to send via 3G through a third party app every second of the day, I don't see how we could ever use the entire processor capacity.
Anyway. Phones will come and go. Specially Samsungs with their half-lives of eight months.
But iPhones on the other hand - they're another story altogether but for another time and another blogroll. Until next time - don't panic. Just feed the fish and hide your socks.
