So it begins. A blog. Written by me. Who knew this day would ever come.
So how should I start? What is somebody supposed to write in blog? Personally, I couldn't care less.
Let me first start by explaining a few things. The title for one: it is unequivocally paradoxical. Can the answer to life, the universe and everything exist on a blog? Surely the number 42 alone can barely handle that weight. Forty two. Forty two. It doesn't sound like an important number. Couldn't Douglas come up with something better? And he seriously needs to work on his math - 6 into 9 is 42 only when you've drunk three glasses of a twelve year old bottle of Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster standing on your head on the satellite Chiron.
So yes, back to title. The answer, can't be a number or a series of blog posts. Unless, and this is interesting, if the number of relevant, life altering and superbly awe-inspiring blog posts which can change the world's perspective were 42 in totality. Although I quite earnestly doubt that possibility.
There's a chap in my school, who I shall (for shadowy and sinister interests) keep unnamed, who remains the snubbed cigarette end of many a burning and scathing remark. Despite the unconformity of his ridiculous postprandial blog posts, I have decided to follow in his path to lunacy. In fact, I'm deliberately using words like 'postprandial' to annoy him.
This blog may prove to be one enjoyable ride. Make sure you're carrying a roadmap with you if you're tagging along.

ReplyDeleteI love your new...philosophical, perhaps, outlook to life atleast for the blog. I remembered to visit and so, here I am. Quite entertaining to say the least although, its also quite hard to follow at first if one is not concentrating when reading. Let's see what you do with this space.

Thanks a lot! It's good to know that somebody actually deciphers the intellectual barrage of information here. Yes, about the 'hard to follow' part, all I can say is, this blog is not for the faint of heart, and by extension, mind.
